Forms

As lawyers for aspiring creative professionals, we understand the value of “form agreements.” Form agreements are a good way for a novice to get a basic understanding of customary deal terms and relationship parameters. In addition, they can be an efficient and effective way to inexpensively memorialize agreement terms until such time as proper funding is in place to do a more thorough set of documents. With that in mind we are going to offer a series of basic form agreements useful for most small-budget projects. Our goal is to release one agreement each week with a brief synopsis of why certain terms are included and what issues should send up “red flags.” Make no mistake, using one of our form agreements is NOT legal advice and should not be seen as a substitute for competent legal representation. USE THESE AT YOUR OWN RISK. GOOD LUCK!
